Multi grammy nominated Richie Gajate Garcia is a world class studio percussionist, drummer, clinician, author and educator. He has accompanied artists Sting, Phil Collins, Don Henley, Stevie Wonder, John Denver, Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Googoosh, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Luis Enrique, Hiroshima, Christopher Cross & more. Richie played on my album "Connected," and brought a lot of heart to the tunes. Richie is also known as "El Pulpo" which means "the octopus" for his incredible independence in fusing both drums and percussion simultaneously.
